My Client has extensive experience in Market research and consultancy projects in the pharmaceutical industry. Making the most of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, going beyond the traditional research patterns and developing innovative techniques, tailored to meet the needs of each and every company.  Research involves a broad range of targets: HCPs, Pharmacists, payers and increasingly more patients, care givers and organizations.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:


  • A member of the Leadership Team
  • Inputs into the Company Strategy and works with the Managing Director to implement the strategy and achieve business goals
  • Leads key strategic initiatives, as directed by the Managing Director

Client Account Focus

  • Contributes to client strategy for company and acts as a role model for client leadership
  • Understands client priorities and helps others to do so; tailors companies’ offerings to clients to suit these, introducing companies’ experts from across the business to ensure the client is offered the right services and experts
  • Develops and maintains strong partnerships with clients; go-to point for companies’ services
  • Develops and implements account plans pulling on company network including Italian team
  • Accountable for sales targets on named accounts
  • Intense focus on client satisfaction; works across company to ensure this is delivered and swiftly puts in place remedial measures in case of issues

Commercial Acumen

  • Drives profitable growth of the company
  • Adopts a mind-set of value not cost when pricing studies and communicates this effectively to the team and to clients
  • Accurately forecasts and proactively manages revenue on projects for named accounts
  • Has a thorough understanding of companies wider offering and creates opportunity to expand offering to clients
  • Considers overall and long-term business impact of pricing decisions (rather than one-off impacts)

Delivering Excellence

  • Designs value-adding research projects for clients
  • Leads project teams to deliver excellent research projects
  • Provides high quality recommendations and consultancy to the client, according to storylining principles
  • Works with other experts to explore and develop innovative methodologies rather than repeat the approaches we have traditionally taken
  • Sets an agenda of “thinking differently” when it comes to all aspects of research from methodologies to data collection to deliverables
  • Ensures that the company complies with GDPR, Pharmaco-vigilance requirements and industry codes of conduct.

Developing Self and Others

  • Responsible for the development and performance management of 1-2 AD/RM level team members
  • Ensures team members are given learning opportunity on projects
  • Recognises and rewards performance beyond what is expected
  • Always acts as a role model to more junior team members
  • Provide ‘on the job’ coaching and feedback to project teams to assist in client skills and research excellence development
  • Works closely with the MD to address any issues of performance by direct reports
