We are working with a market-leading, innovative highly specialist organisation in Oxford, to find a Taxonomy & Content Specialist for their collaborative and ambitious team.

This is a newly created taxonomy role, due to the continued success of the organisation and the need for further flexible and adaptive members to continue the development of the team.

The overall purpose of this taxonomy and content role will be to accelerate the adoption of the newly created framework to deliver content enrichment, by working with internal and external stakeholders to identify, build and implement knowledge models (taxonomies, ontologies, vocabularies/thesauri) and enrichment workflows.

Key elements of the role include:

  • Enriching more content by working with business stakeholders to proactively identify key domain areas across their businesses, and working with subject matter experts to define enrichment approaches
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify best-fit knowledge models for changing business needs, assisting with the creation process where needed, ensuring cross-business adoption where applicable
  • Proactively identify and define requirements for new content enrichment capabilities that help meet business needs

As the successful candidate you will be a results-driven self-starter who is highly motivated to succeed, and one who takes a flexible, open-minded approach to problem solving and thrives on learning and experiencing new challenges.

Coupled with a highly competitive salary package, on offer is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding organisation that prides itself on its collaborative and creative way of working and encourages individuals to shape exciting change.
