A leading global law firm has a 12-month Fixed Term contract job opportunity for a Resources Assistant, based within their central London offices in the Research Services team.
 
What you’ll be doing
The Research Services team is responsible for the procurement of online and hard copy resources.   The Assistant will manage the intake and distribution of hard copy materials and other resources such as serials, new books and loose-leaf updates.    As part of the Research Services Department you will be helping in providing skilled research services to the practice and business teams. You will be working closely with acquisitions/resources specialists.


Further job responsibilities will include maintaining library collections, updating the library management system and Catalogue records, book ordering and dealing with queries.

You may be intending to do the Library and Information qualification in the future and be looking for a one year pre-library placement, or you may be a Library and Information Studies graduate.
You will be a confident communicator who is professional and organised.
