My Client requires an experienced Research Manager to join their small but busy team in central London.

The role is hands-on, involving all aspects of market research. The successful candidate will be ambitious and keen to play a leading role in the development of our company. The candidate will work on, and manage, a range of different project types in different sectors. Previous experience in research is a must, preferably in the B2B space, with agency-side experience a significant advantage. This is a client-facing role and the ability to liaise with clients, manage teams is crucial.

Seeking extensive experience on a range of different projects preferably including at least one of the following:

  • Customer satisfaction/loyalty
  • Brand studies
  • Customer segmentation
  • Market assessment
  • New product/concept development


Solid capabilities in the core research activities which make up the main elements of the role:

  • Enquiry handling by phone or in person
  • Designing research projects from client briefs
  • Proposal writing
  • Designing questionnaires
  • Qualitative & Quantitative Data analysis
  • Constructing presentations, and managing analysis programmes
  • Presentation skills
  • Project management skills

  • Experience in specialist research skills such as CONJOINT, SIMALTO, pricing studies, etc.
  • Experience in social media listening/tracking
  • Experience in big data analytics
  • Data visualisation skills
  • Experience using CRM systems such as SalesForce
  • Business development experience
