A leading law firm has a new permanent job opportunity for a Records Management Assistant, to be based in Manchester.

What you'll be doing

The key job responsibilities of the Records Management Assistant will include working to assist with all aspects of the organisation's Records Management service. You will work with both electronic and paper-based records, and you will liaise with Archive suppliers to ensure a great service is delivered to the firm.

You will support the different business areas to ensure core records management practices and procedures are incorporated into day-to-day activity for both paper and electronic records.

You will advise of best practice and seek to identify opportunities to enhance the record management service as well as engaging in different projects. You will also act as first point of contact for both external storage suppliers and on-site staff.

Why you’ll be hired

To apply for this position you should be a Records Management professional, with previous experience within records management. that has given you an understanding of record management systems. Ideally you will also possess a Records Management, Archives or Library %26amp; Information Management degree qualification.

You should understand legal, regulatory and business requirements with regards to records management. You will possess strong communication skills that will enable you to deal supportively and professionally with people of all levels across the business.
