Our client is a leading research and insight organisation that have harnessed consumer behavioural responses to offer meaningful and comprehensive insights to a wide range of globally recognised brands.

Currently, undertaking growth and expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Insight Director who has a strong presence in the industry to work with the senior leadership in identifying new commercial revenues whilst delivering high quality market research to clients.

What you will be doing

Providing leadership and direction to the Insight team, accountable for building client plans and supporting business development activities to grow new revenue from existing client base.

Key responsibilities:

Involved in commercial planning – defining annual revenue goals for each Insight area and formulating a strategy for grown

  • Assisting the BD Director in continually identifying new areas in the market for growth and taking an active part in the proposal and pitch process
  • Taking responsibility for Key Account relationships and growth
  • Ensuring quality procedures and best practice quality and standards are delivered across the teams
  • Manging resource allocation to drive marketing and innovation activity
  • Work with HR Director to manage talent including development, training and succession planning
  • Represent the business with key industry bodies and steer research thinking – challenging the norm to produce enhanced, concise and clear deliverables for clients

Who you will be

  • An experienced research professional with a proven track-record of having led large research teams, either agency or client-side, at Director level
  • Strong relationship builder who’s able to interact with senior client stakeholders
  • Strong team leader with experience of both coaching and mentoring leadership styles
  • Great role model – sets the standard, ensuring exceptional quality deliverables at all stages of the research process, whilst also challenging the team to deliver the same
  • Champion a culture of high performance with a hunger to succeed
  • Collaborative focus ensuring participation from individuals and teams and creating a team centric environment
