Are you a recent Graduate looking for a career in Information Management, particularly linked to Freedom of Information and Data Protection?
An organisation which supports the Government's debt management policy of minimising financing costs over a period of time while acting as an executive agency for Ministers, is looking to recruit an Information Management Officer on a permanent basis.

What you'll be doing

The Information Management Officer will gain knowledge of the requirements of Freedom of Information (FOI) and Data Protection legislation (DPA and GDPR) through practical experience and formal study. The opportunity is to support the day to day Information Management activities including providing advice and support on records, maintaining registers of FOI requests, preparing draft responses and supporting the organisations' compliance with FOI legislation.

Why you’ll be hired

The ideal candidate will have some experience in an Information Management role with a good understanding of records lifecycle, retention scheduling and awareness of FOI legislation. A degree in any subject will be required along with strong attention to detail and an organised, methodical approach.
