A Property Management company has a new permanent job vacancy for an Information & Records Management Officer, based in Greater Manchester.

This job role sits in the Information and Communications Technology team and there will be opportunities to get involved in ICT projects as well as pure Records Management and Data Protection projects.

Key job responsibilities will include supporting the information management programme across the organisation.  This will include ensuring compliance with data protection requirements, promoting best practice and advising on data protection and information management processes and procedures and delivering training.

To apply for this job you will have an Information Management or Information Governance background, whether that is Data Protection related or Information Management, Records Management, or Information Risk and Security related.  Experience of subject access requests (SARs) would be ideal.

It is possible to also consider you if you have an understanding of Information and Records Management and Data Protection and are genuinely intent on developing a career in this area.  This passion would need to be accompanied by relevant transferable skills including strong communication skills. In this instance we would need to see evidence of this and would appreciate a covering note addressing this.

You will have the ability to work collaboratively, motivate colleagues to deliver projects and embed best practice across the organisation.

You should possess the ability to understand complex legislation and apply it practically.

You will have strong analytical and communication skills, dealing with a wide range of audiences and enabling you to effectively describe technical IM/IG compliance issues.

Based in Greater Manchester, this is a highly respected employer recognised for their investment in their staff.
