Job Title: Business Support Executive
Job Reports To: Senior Director, Global Business Support
Place of Work:  Ealing, London W5
Salary £25k to £30k per annum

Job Purpose: Provide organisational and coordination support to the Senior Director, Global Business Support and research teams and senior management

What you’ll be doing:

  • Updating of the client and project information in the Management Information System (MIS) and producing regular, standardised reports plus managing urgent requests for ad-hoc information
  • Maintaining resourcing-related records and supporting resourcing decisions
  • Supporting execs in producing accurate, commercially sound project budgets through advice, checking and conversion into client-specific templates
  • Key Duties and Performance Indicators Maintenance of project records and producing regular, standardised reports
  • Maintain project records (Management Information System)
  • Proactively gather necessary information from project executives
  • Produce regular, standardised reports for senior management (PowerPoint) and also respond to ad-hoc, urgent information requests as required
  • Set-up new projects in our systems
  • Maintain resourcing-related records to support decision-making
  • Accurately maintain an overview of current and future resource allocations and needs – both external and internal staff members
  • Communicate regularly with internal and external researchers, developing and maintaining strong, positive relationships
  • Support decision making regarding allocation of staff to new projects
  • Project budgeting and conversion into client-specific templates
  • Set budgets for new projects
  • Support project teams by checking budgets set by others
  • Prepare client cost breakdowns to client specifications
  • Provide training on cost-related topics to internal and external staff members
  • Be knowledgeable of account-specific costing strategies and support the dissemination of this information to research personnel.

Key Experience Required

  • 2+ years relevant experience in an office environment
  • Experience preparing standardised reports / updates to others
  • Database inputting and management                   

Desirable Experience

  • Experience of preparing ad-hoc project budgets
  • Exposure to ad-hoc project work (ideally in the market research setting)
