SLA Europe Summer Soirée: Barber-Surgeon’s Hall

If you were at last Wednesday’s SLA Europe Summer Soirée, you would have had to have been pretty quick on your feet to avoid bumping into at least one of the Sue Hill Recruitment / TFPL crew. We were, it has to be said, out in force.

The venue for this year’s Soirée was the fascinating Barber-Surgeon’s Hall, tucked away in an almost hidden square behind London Wall and Barbican. The Barber-Surgeon’s Great Hall was a fantastic venue, not just on account of the space, the excellent catering and being overlooked by Holbein's painting of Henry VIII uniting the Barbers’ and Surgeons’ Companies in 1541, but also for the effectiveness of the air conditioning on one of the hottest nights of the year so far. Thanks to SLA Europe for another great event, and to the generous sponsors, Dow Jones and Integreon.

Hopefully a good number of you also had the opportunity to say hello to our new Managing Director, Chris Jones. Chris started with us in June, and he is responsible for all areas of recruitment under the Progility banner. With Chris on board, there are many new and exciting developments in the pipeline. Keep an eye on the SHR, TFPL and Progility websites for further announcements.
