Jason Thompson

Jason has a strong library and information management background having worked in a variety of roles in New Zealand over the last 15 years. He is a qualified librarian and worked in public libraries for six years before moving into library IT. He has worked as an analyst programmer for Civica supporting their Spydus library management system and as an application specialist for Datacom, supporting the DRA Classic and Taos library management systems. In his most recent role in New Zealand he was Service Delivery Manager for Datacom, a position which involved managing the provision of services provided to a large University library consortium.

Jason is now looking forward to having the opportunity to working closely with the information sector in the UK to create win-win situations for candidates and clients alike.

In his spare time Jason is enjoying exploring London. He is also a keen guitarist and can sometimes be persuaded to sing at open mic nights.
