Meet under the clock at Waterloo!

Meeting fellow professionals at meetings, at interviews – all are good and talking is one of my specialities. I like meeting people outside of an office environment – it can raise some more challenges for both parties-no excuses to curtail a meeting as no colleagues to butt in.  But… meeting someone you have never met, whose passport photograph could completely fool you.. Where? Who should travel the furthest, Do I know the area well enough?  How will you recognise them?  Besides the usual holding a flower or a detailed description of yourself, what else can I do to get myself noticed! When representing my employer what is acceptable? Do we go for a corporate colour scarf, bag, umbrella – or just trust to common sense and a brief description of the two parties and offend no one and ensure that ‘contact has been made’!
