About the company

Join this leading London university working within the library's Collection Services team which is responsible for the provision of books, journals and other materials to support research, teaching and learning across the university. This is a contract until the end of August initially.


What you'll be doing

The Senior Library Assistant is responsible for creating and downloading bibliographic records into the Aleph library management system, checking details of items to be ordered in various sources, including standard reference works and publishers' web pages, creating orders on Aleph and keeping statistics of the numbers of orders created, checking in journal issues, checking items received against invoices, analysing supplier reports and requesting information from suppliers.
