About the company

Management level research job for a retail sector research analyst to join a prestigious organisation and hone your skills in an international business research environment.


What you'll be doing

The job holder will be responsible for driving a programme of retail sector related research which will be used principally to develop points of view and to focus our client's key strengths in offering specialist solutions. You will be part of an expert network, operating globally, so will be expected to manage complex projects, with stakeholders in different locations and complementary knowledge and skill sets.


Why you’ll be hired

Deep knowledge of issues and trends affecting the retail sector and other market related topics is required. This will include demonstrable knowledge of the value chain, industry challenges, key players, sector evolution as well as consumer trends. There will be a specific focus on the UK retail business sector including fashion, apparels and food but due to the global nature of this organisation you will get to work on global initiatives.

In addition to the specific sector knowledge required, core skill sets for the job include:

- Research skills to scope work, develop proposals and deliver high-end research using primary and secondary research methodologies and techniques.
- Program Management of research projects and programs.
- Leadership and communication including developing relationships with senior executives and clients and providing ideas and solutions to their problems.
-Experienced in delivering presentations at executive level with the potential to present directly to external clients
