About the company

A leading London university with a strong record for open access promotion and development is recruiting a temporary Open Access Engagement Officer job which is expected to run until March 2018. access team, to help improve the accuracy of compliance reporting and monitoring.

What you'll be doing

This job will have a strong emphasis on engaging with academic and research support staff in order to improve understanding of open access processes. The Open Access Engagement Officer will produce training materials and deliver training designed to raise compliance with funders' open access policies. Furthermore you will work closely with the rest of the open

This job would suit someone with a clear background in open access research management, someone who is proactive and capable of building excellent working relationships with a range of professional stakeholders. Applicants would need previous experience of using a Current Research Information System (CRIS) to determine which academics should be targeted in order to engage them with open access.
