The client delivers aid into many large research agencies offering a broad range of services, from sampling to full-scale market studies. This innovative agency focuses on delivering evidence and inspiration and makes recommendations to many of the world’s leading brands.

What you'll be doing

As a Business Development Manager, you will generate new opportunities for the business within existing client base and act as an account manager by managing client relationships. Your job will be to have an influential approach and have a client development sales background. You will build and manage a sales pipeline to enable achievement of sales goals. You will be dealing with requests from existing clients and prospects, assess feasibility and prepare proposals. Supporting Project Managers will be a part of your day-to-day job responsibilities also. The role will be split, 25% of your duties will include account management and 75% of your time will be focused on new business development.

Job responsibilities include:

- Strategically identify new sales opportunities within the current client base
- Be the first point of contact for key accounts within the business
- Collaboratively work in sync with other senior members from different departments to implement and create new business opportunities
- Upselling to and growing existing client revenues
- Attend various market research conferences and events in the UK
